Production Machining Services

CNC Production Machined parts are not just any old machining services, but state-of-the-art, high-quality precision machined components.

TRUE EXPERTS

Over 30 years of metal and plastic experience.

Our customers rely on us to deliver production runs of CNC machined parts that are critical to keeping their lines moving. With both milling and turning services, as well as a variety of other equipment at our disposal, we can keep our customers on track.

Additionally, we specialize in CNC machining services of both metal and plastic components. With the growth and evolution in the use of plastics over the last 50 years, we have the expertise to know the difference between the two and can even help you analyze which material and design will work best for your application.

Our Experience

Plas-Tech provides you with the capabilities of a large machine shop and the flexibility, service and responsiveness of a small one.

With nearly 3 decades of service, we have been helping our customers meet their part designs and product requirements since 1993. Our team offers over 200 combined years of experience and we are confident you will get what you want when you need it. We provide fast estimates; usually within 24-48 hours and in emergency situations, in as little as an hour!

We listen to our customers and work hand-in-hand to provide creative solutions to machining, often working with our customer’s engineering team. We consider the practicality of each individual project and continually look for cost savings.

For example, we stock many types of material, giving us the ability to make parts quickly, which saves time and money that would normally have been spent waiting for material. Additionally, because of our innovative approach to machining, we can often utilize a less expensive piece of equipment to generate a part, ultimately saving the customer money.

We are more than a metal and plastic service provider because we strive to come up with what is best for the customer. We will not try to sell you on a specific idea and we will listen to you and make recommendations on what we believe best meets your needs.

Advanced Machining Capabilities

When you are searching for a company to meet your requirements it is important to assess their capabilities and technical abilities. You might ask if the company has the ability to produce complex parts.

Complexity is dictated by your specifications and companies with limited capability often have increased costs in machining time and extra material cost due to these limitations. With our advanced machining capabilities, we offer flexible manufacturing processes and fixture designs that can cut costs and reduce lead times. Here are some important facts for you to know and evaluate our capabilities:

4 CNC Lathes

Live tooling

16 CNC Mills

Optional 4th axis

We have manufactured parts as small as:

  • 0.25″ diameter
  • Tolerances +/- 0.0005″
  • Surface finishes to suit your application whether grinding or polishing

We have manufactured parts as large as:

  • 24 foot long
  • 1500 pounds of total weight
  • Up to 48″ Diameter

Our 4-axis capabilities combed with Mastercam Software allow us to create complex part geometries that other shops may require a 5th axis. We build all of our own jigs and fixtures which saves you time and money.

MATERIAL EXAMPLES

We offer a variety of materials depending on your application and needs. Some materials are stocked.

Steel

Stainless Steel

Aluminum

Bronze

Plastics

We have access to exotic materials such as

High-wear, corrosion resistant materials

Special plastics for electronic industry fixturing

Value Added Services

Assembly, Welding, Kitting, Coating and More

We all know about “pass through” services where companies just markup work that other vendors provide and you pay the price. The question that needs to be asked is, can the company you choose provide value added services that provides you with benefit? This may include savings on the logistical side where you have less to manage as you work with a company that takes those responsibilities off your plate.

So, in addition to our production machining services with different types of materials and our advanced machining capabilities we offer:

Assembly, Kitting, & Welding

Inventory Management

Prototyping

Tooling & Fixturing

CAD Drafting Services

Laser Engraving

Powder Coating & Painting

Wear & Corrosion Coatings

Heat Treating

Additionally, we can leverage our industry connections to help you get a completed part or assembly without the hassle of managing it all.

Examples of the Work We Do

Machining

Emergency Machining From Solid

Our customer found themselves in a situation where a casting supplier was unable to provide a critical part to their process. After working with us, we were able to come up with a solution where we could machine their part out a solid block. They had parts back on their assembly line within weeks of contacting us.
Machining

Production Machining on Live Tooling Lathe

Our live tooling lathes allow us to produce parts with tight tolerances and machine some parts in one operation that would usually take 2 or more operations to complete. This can help improve the quality of the parts.
